As with the reds, this set of white samples from Drouhin indicates an outstanding vintage for its whites from 2023.

2023 Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu
Very good Chablis, very good acidity, saline, energetic, white fruits. Some purchased fruit in this wine. (91-94)
2023 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos
Part fermented in ceramic egg, part in used barrels of 500-liters. Pear fruit in nose. In the mouth, more weight than the Mont de Milieu with pear flavors. Smooth texture. (93-95
2023 Côte-de-Beaune
Almost crystalline white fruits, lovely balance, good freshness and acidity. (91-93)
2023 Puligny-Montrachet
White fruits in nose, a touch of pear. In the mouth, purity, Puligny smooth texture, long, white fruits. Lovely bottle. (90-93)
2023 Chassagne-Montrachet
Mineral nose and body, very clear and pure, good firmness, (91-93)
2023 Meursault
Richer, creamier, buttery, very long, silky texture. Long in mouth. (90-93)
2023 Meursault 1er Cru Perrières
Dusty, chipped stone Perrières nose. A bit creamy for Perrières, not as tightly-wound as in other vintages but delicious anyway. (92-95)
2023 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Marquis de Laguiche
Pure, clear, a bit creamy, white fruits, enough acidity. More elegant than the village Chassagne. (92-95)
2023 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches
Very pure complex nose. In the mouth, a touch of honey to go with white fruits, fresh, round, medium-light in weight, long. (93-96)
2023 Corton-Charlemagne (domaine)
As with other Corton-Charlemagnes that I’ve tasted from this vintage, the usual tension is not present, but the wine has excellent white fruits, good density, in is an outstanding, maybe great, wine even though it is not as typical of its terroir as other the wines presented here. The wine should drink well young. I indicate that this is the domaine version because in some years, Drouhin also has a négociant Corton-Charlemagne. (95-97)
2023 Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche
Stony nose, impressive tension, energy, depth, very, very young now, but a real monument. (97-99)
