2023 Bourgogne Chardonnay Clos du Château
Crisp, crunchy, lemony, pure. Old vines and 2 parcels of young vines. The Clos du Château is in the village of Puligny-Montrachet, but only allowed the regional Bourgogne classification. (87-89)
2023 Bourgogne Chardonnay (Domaine)
Crisper, more acidity, a bit of butter from the malolactic fermentation, very citric and crisp. Young vines from Clos du Château. (87-89)
2023 Puligny-Montrachet
Pure, mineral with some citric, light, penetrating, pure, fresh, sensual. (80% is from the Chalumeaux premier cru vineyard that was declassified). (92-94)
2023 Chassagne-Montrachet
From vineyards on the northern part of Chassagne. More muscle still very good acidity, mineral, pure. (91-93)
2023 St-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly
Crisp, pure, complex, penetrating. (92-94)
2023 Meursault St-Christophe
Very mineral, citric, pure, energetic.incipient butter. (91-94)
2023 Meursault 1er Cru Porousots
Fleshy, tension, electric, no heaviness. (92-94)
2023 Meursault 1er Cru Perrières
Good energy, tension, depth, stony fruit. Typical Perrières. (92-95)
2023 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières
Mineral, stony, pure, nervy, not the fleshy Folatières that one finds at some addresses. (93-95)
2023 Puligny-Meursault 1er Cru Caillerets
Pure crisp, energetic, penetrating, mineral, ethereal. (95-97)
2023 Chevalier-Montrachet
Chevalier finesse, purity, lightness, ethereal. (95-97)
2023 Corton-Charlemagne
Crystalline, pure, citric, lemony, medium weight. Long. (95-97)

2023 Saint-Aubin
Finesse, purity, drawn fruit. (90-92)
2023 Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaumes
Very crisp with purity; light on the palate, penetrating. Raised half in stainless steel, half in 600-liter barrels. (91-93)
The following two wines are under the Maison de Montille label for 2023, but beginning in 2024 will be estate wines. They are properties that de Montille has acquired from Bouchard Père & Fils.

Crisp, pure, and clean. (90-93)
2023 Meursault Les Clous
Exceptional quality for a village wine, even this one which has always ranked high in the hierarchy. Very energetic, pure, and nervy. (92-94)
