Stony nose with underlying white peach. Medium-weight, decent grip, good penetration. 93/A

Spicy, floral nose and mouth, adequate acidity. 92(+)/A

MAXIMIN GRÜNHAUS/von SCHUBERT

2023 (Mertesdorf) Bruderberg Riesling GG

Good minerality and nice precision for the vintage but without the tightness and acidity of a a still better wine. 88/B-

2023 (Mertesdorf) Herrenberg Riesling GG

Slightly herbal nose typical of Herrenberg. Light in weight, some mineral/stony flavors. Moderate acidity. 90/B+

2023 (Mertesdorf) Abtsberg Riesling GG

Tighter, more precise than two other von Schubert wines. Still quite closed, but there is promise here. 92(+)/A
