The GG’s from Wiltingen, mostly Scharzhofberger, generally show well, even if the vintage is not one of the best in recent years.

White peach skin, light elegant, not dilute, pure, long. Not yet bottled. (91-93)

2022 (Wiltingen) Scharzhofberger  Riesling GG

Pure, stony, penetrating. Not the structure of the best of years, but not deficient, either. Not yet bottled. (91-93)

Fresh, clear, medium-light, some white peach, elegant. 91/A-

2022 (Wiltingen) Scharzhofberger  Riesling GG

Stony nose. In mouth, energetic, medium-light, stony, needs time to develop. 91+/A-

2022 (Wiltingen) Scharzhofberger  Pergentsknopp Riesling GG

Spicy cinnamon and nutmeg, pure nose. Medium-weight, good density, intense, but lacking a touch of energy compared to still better wines. 91(+)/A-

2022 (Wlitingen) Volz  Riesling GG

Smooth, round, some peach and a bit of rose, but could use more concentration. 89/B
