Finishing up the Pfalz Rieslings — not as consistently strong as 2021, but plenty of outstanding wines.

Cinnamon in nose. Dense, round, some cinnamon, chewy. Stylized, but many will like this. 90/B+

Intense, rich, with good acidity, citric fruit, long, very promising. 93/A

2022 (Ilbesheim) Kirchberg    Riesling GG 

Lemon blossom nose. Medium weight, lemon blossom in mouth, good purity and harmony. 92/A

Earthy lemon blossom nose. Big, chewy, round with lemony flavors. 92+/A

SIEGRIST

2022 (Leinsweiler) Sonnenberg    Riesling GG 

Butter, orange blossom nose. Medium-weight, lovely balance in the mouth, good acidity, lively white fruits. A harmonious wine.  93/A

Nice lemony flavors but a touch watery on the mid-palate. 89?/B
