2021 and 2022 Württemberg Riesling GG Part I-- Altenberg, Götzenberg, Herzogenberg, Lämmler, Pulvermacher from Aldinger, Beurer, Ellwanger, Haidle, Schnaitmann, and Wöhrwag
I debated whether to publish these notes, as I think the wines are consumed mostly in Stuttgart, Württemberg’s largest city, and the surrounding area. Nevertheless, I do occasionally come across some producers from the region.

Big wine, powerful, but with some elegance. Clear, but not that much flavor coming through. 87+?/C

Butter, lime in nose. Round in mouth, some citric. Still needs time. 88(+)/B-

Floral, lime blossom nose. Light lime on the palate. Needs time, still, but there is promise. 89(+)/B

Medium-weight, dense and concentrated, spicy, clear fruit, just off-dry. 88/B-
